    Evert Verlinden

    Evert Verlinden is a Belgium-based entrepreneur who made the list of 50 fastest-growing companies in Belgium and 500 fastest-growing companies globally 5(!) times. His company made it into the Trends Gazelle Top 10 four times and was elected as the most promising Belgian SME by UNIZO. Next to this, he was elected as entrepreneur of the year in 2021.

    Evert Verlinden started his Career at Nielsen IQ in data consulting, working with big accounts like Coca-Cola, Abinbev, P&G. He later joined Mondelez as a consumer intelligence manager and did various jobs In Marketing & Trade Marketing after.

    In 2009 he co-founded StepUp RGM. With their tools and services, they deliver the full Revenue Growth Management (RGM) solution, boosting insights to action to impact.

    Revenue growth management is a newly developed technology that helps companies to optimize their topline & bottom-line profitability. StepUp was founded in Belgium but very quickly gained international scope thanks to its clients that tool the StepUp technology & services globally. Today leading companies like Coca-Cola, Heineken, Danone, Fonterra, PepsiCo, Henkel, Beiersdorf, … have continuous partnerships with StepUp.

    The Revenues & employee base showed tremendous growth with a yearly +40% revenue growth since the start and 400+ employees globally today.

    In 2020 Evert Incorporated StepUp in the USA which led to further acceleration of the growth. Did the entrepreneurial journey from A to Z again in the USA.

    In 2022 Kantar-XTEL (a global multi-billion company in the Marketing Analytics space) acquired StepUp RGM. Evert led the RGM product practice integration within the Kantar-XTEL group & now retired from this job since January 2024.
