Bart Rymen, the Belgian Focal Point for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), will provide a comprehensive introduction to IPCC and address common misconceptions. Prof. Joeri Rogelj, IPCC coordinating lead author of the special report on 1.5 degrees, will present a compelling overview of the key messages conveyed in the latest IPCC report. Finally, Prof. Valérie Trouet, scientific director of the Belgian Climate Center, will delve into the challenges and opportunities for industries to align with global climate goals.

After the presentations there will be time for Q&A.
