Event Details

Belgium, Switzerland and The Netherlands are food countries, but we have so much more to offer than chocolate, French fries, cheese, fondue or Beer !

To illustrate that, we have invited two amazing start-ups that are helping to create the Future of Food and making the World a Better, more Sustainable Place :

  • Paleo, represented by Lucie D'Haene, produces proteins that recreate the authentic flavour of beef, chicken and tuna for the alternative meat sector. How? Join us May 2nd to find out !
  • Wasna produces animal free growth serum for the cultivated meat industry, with possible spin-offs into the healthcare market, cultivated blood for human blood transplants! Founder-owner-CEO Mathieu Van Giel is our guest to explain his fascinating journey.

And to top it off, we are honoured to have Professor William Chen of NTU join us for the keynote introduction. Prof Chen, who studied at the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), is a world renowned expert in the field of food sustainability including cultivated meat. He is the Director of the Singapore Agri-Food Innovation Lab (SAIL) and Director of the Singapore Future Ready Food Safety Hub (FRESH) and he has been featured prominently on CNN and CNA.
